The grounds contain a collection of Town and District memorials. Plaques, tablets and Inscriptions pay tribute to men, women and deeds and depict Jingoistic fervor prevalent in the Dominions towards the British empire.

Formal entry gained by the King George Coronation Gates. Built to a design by W. J. Wills by Cooper and Duncan at a cost of 250 pounds.
