Disc Golf

It was great to see the Disc golf course being used by our business community for their Christmas functions - Kerry Woolger from Cunningham Plumbing Ltd sent me some photos of their day. She said  “There were 25 of us & we played Disc golf & lawn bowls. It was great fun – I made up some score cards for everyone with PAR and distances of each hole. There was a mixture of Cunningham Plumbers plus partners & Ellis-Lea Farms plus partners.  Only Ivan & I had ever played before and everyone was very impressed with the new course.  They all had a great time & enjoyed it.”

Disc Golf is a game for all ages and abilities which can be played competitively of for fun with family and friends. 

Matt Hampton has kindly set up a waimate2gether disc golf league. You can download the app onto your phone by using the QRcode that is now on the official maps at Victoria Park. 

If you are keen to join the social Disc golf league they meet on a Thursday evening at 6.30pm - everyone welcome.
