Waimate Garden Competition 2021

The winners of the inaugural Waimate Summer Garden Competition were announced on Saturday 06 February, at a prizegiving ceremony held at The Back Paddock Garden Centre in Waimate. The high quality of entries made judging a difficult task but they finally settled on the following winners;

Best Kitchen Garden: Kathie Larsen.

Best Country Garden: Pauline Thomas.

Best Small Town Garden: Nicola Brunt.

Best Large Town Garden: Jonnie Rutherford.

Supreme Garden Award: Nicola Brunt.

The winners were presented with gift vouchers by Joy McIvor from Waimate2gether.

The judges also awarded recognition to The Best Street of Gardens - Churchill Place.
